Bark-Scotti & Pup Cakes was started by Abby Lagman with the help of her co-founders & official taste testers - Bruno & Bonnie, whom she adopted from local rescue organizations.  She is proud to be a local "mom & pups" bakery, still baking treats from scratch by hand.  With her passion for dogs & baking, she couldn't think of a better way to reach out to the world!  She has a background in several business industries, including retail management, executive administration, office & staff management, hospitality and even experience with a cookie company as the front office manager (as well as a self appointed quality control taster!). Through the years, she has been able to  bake treats & goodies for her friends, family, coworkers & their "best friends" and now she is so excited to share these treats and this amazing venture with all of you.                                                                                  Bruno & Bonnie - co-founders & official taste testers

In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with her family, including her two dogs Bonnie & Bruno, as well as her two cats Quinn & Gizmo.  She loves to bake for her friends (yes she has human ones too!) & taking weekend trips to California, where she was raised. She also enjoys fostering & volunteering as an adoption counselor with the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society.  If there's one quote she now lives by, it's the following from Harvey MacKay “Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.”

Our founder, Abby Lagman, is an active volunteer with the Las Vegas Valley Humane Sociey.  She is a firm supporter of this local rescue organization, that not only rescues homeless dogs & cats - but also helps our community in many different ways, including offering low cost spay & neuter clinics for cats & referrals for dogs to help reduce the pet overpopulation in our shelters & on our streets.

A portion of the proceeds from treats sold at Bark-Scotti and Pup Cakes go directly to the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society, a private, all volunteer organization which receives NO funding from local, state or federal government.  It relies on fundraising and voluntary contributions from generous people in our community.  To learn more about the LVVHS and its efforts, please visit www.lvvhumane.org or call 702-434-2009.
